| (One upon a time it started with this story)...
After my parents made enough fun at me I went to school... I was interested in tattoos since I was 12 yrs old. My first experiences in those days were with needle and scriptol. But eventually I became a carpenter and allround-craftsman.
I started digging deeper when I was 24yrs old. But even then it needed a good while until I got the courage to dive really deep into it.
I made it to my job at 1995.
I started as an autodidact. With a certain amount of enthusiasm and by reading lots of professional literature I took certain barriers.

Sabine Gaffron was at the same time really new in the scene and gave me many great tips.
Thanks Sabine! Mike Ford also taught me some little eminent things. Today I know a lot of artists as my friends and I am still learning which I appreciate for my personal design. Sabine Gaffron and Theresa Gordon are still giving out design criticism. Thanks for that.
Hygiene and sterile cleanness are the most important things from me at my work. After nearly 10 years with my own tattoo studio „Hot Colours“ I decided to work „on the road“ in october 2005.
A decision I never felt sorry for. I got to know many interesting and nice people, found new friends and could collect new experiences which extended my horizon...
But I will open my own studio at 2010.
Apart from that I still travel a lot around the world and also work on certain conventions. A tough job but I love it!
At the end of the 90s I recorded with my band in those days „Nevertheless“ our first CD. A great experience – but today there is not much time left for practising music – unfortunately. I still have another band „the hoshis“ (cover band for 70s and 80s music) and we play some gigs together, but not very often.
In my little spare time I prefer spending time outside in the nature e.g. with a canoe and/or my hinge. Before I decided to dive deeper into this job I was an impassioned sports lad. But now there is too less time left for it next to my thousand other ideas... But that’s the way I chose.
In conclusion I would like to thank all my customers/clients for your faith in me. Thanks to all my friends - not for the hilarious parties as for the faithful friendship. And I like to thank all my colleagues for your openness and your steady collegiality.
Lets colour the world!
